About SummonAgents.com

A fan project powered by passion, Magic cards, and a lot of AI.

The Honest Truth About This Site

Summon Agents is not a huge corporation. There's no team of developers in a glass office, no editorial staff cranking out content at 9am, and no marketing department obsessing over the brand. What there is: one person who loves Magic: The Gathering, can't always find the time to build everything from scratch, and decided to see what happens when you hand most of the work to AI.

This site is AI-first by design and by necessity. The deck builder is fully automated. Much of the blog content you'll read here — including the analysis, the market commentary, and the strategy guides — is generated by AI with human direction and review. We think that's worth saying plainly, because you deserve to know what you're reading and where it comes from.

Why It Exists

Magic is one of the most complex, rewarding, and occasionally infuriating games ever created. Building a great deck is genuinely hard — it requires understanding the meta, knowing your win conditions, balancing your mana curve, and making a hundred small decisions that compound into either a finely tuned machine or an expensive pile of cardboard.

Most players don't have hours to spend on deck theory between sessions. Most fan sites don't have the resources to cover every set release, every Pro Tour, and every price spike in real time. Summon Agents exists to bridge that gap — using AI to do the heavy lifting so that the content and tools are actually useful, current, and freely available to anyone who wants them.

How It Works

The Deck Builder is fully AI-powered. You describe what you want — your playstyle, your format, your budget — and the AI assembles and analyses a deck based on that input. It will identify weaknesses, suggest sideboard options, and score your matchups against the current meta. No human is in the loop on individual deck builds. The AI does the work.

The Blog is written by Lore.exe — our AI writing persona. Lore.exe covers Pro Tour results, new set releases, trending cards, market movements, and strategy guides with what we'd like to think is genuine enthusiasm and a little dry wit. Every post is generated with human direction (we decide what gets covered and how) and reviewed before it goes live. But the words are Lore.exe's.

Market Insights combine AI analysis with publicly available pricing data to surface trends, flag price spikes, and highlight cards worth watching. It's informational — not financial advice — and the AI is doing the pattern recognition.

What AI Can't Replace

Here's what the human behind Summon Agents actually does: loves this game. Decides what matters. Sets the direction. Reads the output and asks whether it's actually good. Cares whether the site is useful to the people who visit it.

AI is a powerful tool. It can generate content, analyse data, and build things faster than any single person could alone. But it doesn't have opinions forged by a hundred Friday Night Magic sessions, or the memory of that one tournament where everything went sideways in round four. That context — that genuine enthusiasm for Magic — is what guides everything you see here.

A Note on Transparency

We believe AI-generated content should be labelled. You'll always know when Lore.exe wrote something. You'll always know the deck builder is automated. We don't hide the machinery — we think the machinery is actually kind of cool.

As AI tools improve, so will this site. We're building in public, learning as we go, and genuinely excited about what's possible when a love of Magic meets the right technology.

Thanks for being here.
